I started February by participating in Sew Grateful week. I brought you a bit on why I am sew grateful and shared the blouse I sewed for my mom.
I announced the release of my love letter embroidery pattern and posted tutorials for how to embroider backstitch and how to make french knots. I also posted a tutorial for how to permanently frame an embroidery in an embroidery hoop.
I showed this month’s progress on my Block-of-the-Month Quilt which included a tutorial for two different ways to sew half-square-triangles.
I spent a fair bit of time at my sewing machine and made a bow neck blouse, red scalloped pencil skirt, a wearable muslin for a trouser skirt, an apple-bottom trouser skirt, and a shirtwaist dress. Wow. I sewed even more clothing than I thought!
I continued my series of interviews on Sewing & Style with of Lauren of American Duchess and Morgan of Crab&Bee.
And I shared my quick and easy dog treat recipe, a peak at a vintage knit shawl, and my first-ever crochet project!
